La Brea’s latest fashion coup
As C&C California co-founder, Cheyann Benedict helped put designer tees on the fashion map.
Now, after a reinvigorating hiatus spent road tripping and studying meditation, she’s returned with a new, casually glam line aimed at ladies who lounge.
Made in L.A., the expansive debut collection includes fluid silk caftans, cozy cashmeres, drapey trousers, and colorful knitwear. A selection of raw silk gauze pieces (dubbed “the Jesus collection” by Benedict) entices with south-of-the-border charm, while the Mount Shasta rainbow dress makes a strong case for spring prints.
The line is exclusively available online and at the new La Brea boutique, where you can also peruse Native American turquoise jewelry, vintage fashion, and midcentury-modern-inspired furniture designed by Benedict herself.
Everything she touches turns to sold.
